Manual paste guide
Use your IntentPack in Claude.
Manually paste IntentPack text into Claude chat, Project instructions, or custom Style instructions with scope, privacy, and testing guidance.
Fastest option: start a normal chat
- In the IntentPack Builder, copy the Chat first message output.
- Open a new Claude conversation.
- Paste the text as the first message, then send your task.
- Test the response with non-sensitive example work and revise the instructions if behavior is inconsistent.
Persistent option: Project instructions
Start with the project IntentPack output.
- Open or create a Claude Project if that feature is available to your account.
- Select Set project instructions.
- Paste the full project/system output and save the instructions.
- Start a project chat and test representative tasks before relying on the behavior.
Another available surface: A custom Style
- Open Search and tools, choose Use style, then Create & edit styles.
- Create a custom style and choose the advanced custom-instructions option.
- Paste the compact output, generate or save the style, and preview its effect.
Privacy and capability check
- Remove personal, confidential, regulated, credential, and proprietary data before pasting unless that product and account are approved for it.
- Persistent fields can affect more conversations than a first message. Review scope before saving.
- Do not enable browsing, tools, or citations in the instructions unless the selected product surface actually provides them.
- IntentPack does not open, modify, or save anything in your Claude account.
